La Centerra at Cinco Ranch Ready for Grand OPENING!

Have you noticed how much Katy is growing up? 

Here is another sign of the growth.  At the corner of Cinco Ranch BLVD and Grand Parkway, we've been watching some really interesting construction going on.  You could tell that what they were building was something different than your normal, small strip shopping center. 

La Centerra will have their GRAND OPENING on March 1st.  The 35 acre shopping center will have a huge impact on the Katy economy and is reported to be creating 1400 direct and 800 indirect jobs with a total financial impact of $25 Million.  The center will generate over $3Million in property taxes alone with about $2Million of that going to the school district!  

Those are some astounding numbers!

 Some of the stores, shoppes and eateries slated to be in the center include: Talbot's, Merle Norman cosmetics, Bath Junkie, Jamba Juice, The Cold Stone Creamery, Coldwater Creek, Jos A. Banks, Starbucks (of course!)
