Misleading Real Estate Agency Ads!

This is a subject that really hits close to home for me.  MISLEADING advertisements!

We see it all the time.  Ads for something that really doesn't exist or for something that they never really intend on selling.  In this case, I'm talking about  something that specifically applies to real estate agents.

Lately, a couple of the larger franchise offices, have started to advertise that they have all listings on their websites.  Meaning that you can go to one site and see that broker's listings and other broker's listings as well.  This is completely factual!

However, it also is misleading because, at least in the Houston area, ALL members of the MLS are provided with links to use on their website to access ALL listings!  So if you go to my site, you will be able to search the MLS and see ALL listings for the area, not just Keller Williams listings.

So what does this mean to you as a consumer?  It means that you have access to the greatest amount of information to buy or sell a home ever!  It's a great thing.   But what you should not be led to believe is that only certain agencies or certain agents in particular are the only ones to be able to show you ALL listings in the area!

So go where you want to go to search homes as long as the agent is presenting the entire MLS (Multiple Listing Service) and go where you are afforded the most comfort and service!

CLICKING HERE WILL TAKE YOU TO MY LOG IN SITE TO VIEW THE ENTIRE MLS!

HAPPY SEARCHING!
