Winter Weather comes to town

Today was such an interesting weather day in Katy Texas!  At about 6:30 this morning, the temperature was right about 70 degrees.  Fast Forward just 3 hours and we had dropped almost 40 degrees!

Cold and wet greeted people heading to work or for those that went to work very early, lunchtime brought a huge suprise!  Chatting with a few people at the grocery store today, most were glad for the cold weather but won't be sad to see it go either (daytime highs over the weekend are supposed to be in the 60s).

One thing is for sure about the norther that came in today is that some good will come of it.  We've had mosquitos the size of small humming birds lately and with the arrival of the freezing temperatures, it will certainly kill them off and allow us a reprieve from the blood suckers!

So how will this weather affect you if you are a home seller?  If someone is making appointments to see your home now,  you KNOW they are buyers that are serious.  So while the showing of homes may slow down a bit due to colder weather, there will surely be fewer buyers out "just looking".
